Betaderm 0.1% Ointment What is Betaderm and what is it used for? Betaderm belongs to a class of drugs known as "topical corticosteroids" that work to reduce inflammation, itching, and redness of the skin. It is used to treat certain skin problems, such as eczema (a skin inflammation that causes itchy, red skin), and some types of dermatitis. How to use Betaderm: Wash the affected area with fragrance-free soap. Apply a small amount of Fucidin H cream to the area and massage gently. After Fucidin cream is absorbed, use a fragrance-free moisturizer. Moisturizing the skin helps speed up the healing process.
